Personable owner Walt Harris succeeds at providing a harmony of expressive
cuisine (the name refers to the alignment of heavenly bodies) thanks to a
sterling, unusually helpful waitstaff and the assured, sublimely seasoned
creations of chef Morton Oswald. The food is crisply flavored and sensuously
textured, floating from French to Asian to Southwestern influences without
skipping a beat. Standouts include the Szechuan tempura lobster with grilled
pineapple and Asian-vegetable salad, and main courses such as elk tenderloin
with sun-dried fig chutney and chile aioli. The patient and knowledgeable will
find a few good buys on the extensive wine list; enjoy a glass while listening
to Aspen's best live jazz. Reservations essential. AE, D, DC, MC, V. No
lunch.

NY TIMES
If you are looking to impress, opt for this restaurant. Consistently rated as one of the best restaurants in Aspen, it offers top food with top jazz. The enclosed waterfalls create an immediate impression of "ooh, this is different." The menu extends this feel by offering a heedful mix of French, Asian and Italian fare. Angus Beef filet and elk tenderloin are two of the more notable dishes. Jazz begins at 10pm. The wine list is the size of a small novella and features over 300 varieties.

Fantastic food. Martin is the most fantastic if not most over looked chef in Aspen. I look foward to eating there when my travels bring me to Aspen. Simply superb.
